"The Priest and the Bandits" is usually the very first side-quest that player's will come across when exploring the Crash Site, which revolves around the feud between a pair of Thieves, and a Priest that has cursed them to roam the Earth forever. One of the thieves will beg for your assistance, and depending on your choices throughout the story, you can either side with the Thieves, the Priest, or possibly even both. This is one of the few quests in the game where you will not gain any reputation.

WalkthroughEdit

Siding with the PriestEdit

Siding with the BanditsEdit

Warning: choosing to side with the bandits harnesses no rewards and implements a curse upon your character. It will also result in a failed quest in your quest diary.

  • Repeat the first two steps of the first method.
  • When you return to Brehgo's spirit in the cave, tell him that you will kill the priest to release the curse from his spirit, and he will thank you and reveal the location of his companion Fahrkus.
  • Head back to Arbalah's House, and defeat Arbalah.
  • Travel back to the Crash Site Cave, and tell Brehgo that Arbalah is dead. After a brief conversation, he will dissapear and you will be left there, free to loot any items you wish from the cave (if you haven't already).

Siding with BothEdit

  • Repeat the first two steps of the first method.
  • When Brehgo asks you to help him, tell him that you will kill Arbalah and release the curse if he discloses the location of Fahrkus. He will then mark the location on your map.
  • Head over to Fahrkus' Shack and intimidate or kill him to retrieve the Sacred Artefact.
  • Travel back to Arbalah's House, and return the Sacred Artefact. You will receive a blessing in return, however if you wish to side with both, you are not done yet.
  • Now kill Arbalah - do not worry as you will not retrieve the curse. If you wish you can loot the Sacred Artefact from his corpse, however it does not serve any real purpose.
  • Head back to the Crash Site Cave and tell Brehgo that the deed is done. After a brief conversation he will dissapear, leaving you with 2 successful quests in your quest diary.
