Jason Anderson was one of Troika's founding members, starting out in the game industry as a contract artist for Interplay's USCF Chess. He was then hired on full time as the first artist on the then unnamed Fallout. Working closely with Tim Cain, he helped design the isometric engine, game world, and interface used in Fallout, earning him the title of technical art director and designer. He contributed to the design of the box layout and artwork of Fallout as well. Other than Fallout, Jason also contributed as an artist to Interplay's Stonekeep.
Jason's employment under Interplay ended shortly after his help in developing the initial design for Fallout 2, leaving the company with Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky to form Troika Games. Interplay has recently reopened in-house development and hired Anderson as creative director for an unannounced non-Fallout MMO.
