Location

The Bane of Kree can be found on Island 9 in The Void.

Circumstances

The Bane will regale the player with his version of his life in Arcanum, including the Sack of Kree. If the topic of Kerghan comes up, he may offer to join the party.

Recruitment

• The Bane will join as a Regular Follower provided:
  • The Player does not have Dumb Dialogue speech
  • The party has an open follower slot
  • The player is at least level 44
  • The player has an evil alignment of at least -37

Special Follower Considerations

• The Bane of Kree carries Torian Kel's Ancestral Sword
• The Bane of Kree may offer a mini-quest to retrieve the blade Kryggird's Falchion
• If the quest is completed, and The Bane is given this blade, and the player promised to bring him back to Arcanum, then this will have later consequences

Interactions

• If Torian Kel is in the party and The Bane talks about his role in the Sack of Kree, then Torian will attack him with or without the party's help
• If Torian discovers that The Bane is carrying his ancestral sword then he will ask for it

Background

The Bane of Kree was a barbarian warlord during the Age of Legends. He is one of five recorded characters banished to The Void by the Elven Council. His crime was the sack of Kree and the slaughter of all of its inhabitants. During this incident he carried and wielded The Bangellian Scourge. To this day he still yearns for this blade.
