Technically this is a failed build, since I've made a mistake while doing the Gambling mastery quest. Basically, I used an Essence of Intellect to raise my Intelligence high enough for the skill to go up to the value I need for mastery, although the potion ran out while doing the quest and I've saved afterwards without checking if I had Master in the first place. Still, I would say this is impressive enough, but if you think otherwise just leave a comment. I will also be answering any questions you may have about the build in the comments.
Name: Tehnicon (thanks to RadCrusher for coming up with this name!)
Race: Gnome (bonus Willpower, direct bonus to the Haggle skill)
Background: Charlatan's Protege (amazing bonus to Charisma which is hard to raise through items)
Level 50 in the end with 0 character points left over, out of possible 13 unless I counted something wrong.
Here's on what I could've saved character points:
- [1 point] Not investing into Agility of Fire and instead hunting for more items which raise Dexterity
- [1 point] Not investing an extra point in Willpower and instead waiting to get Finger of Mannox
- [2 points] Using the perception bonus from Halcyon's blessing for Firearms and Disarm Traps skills
- [other] Mastering non-technological skills first (technological are: Repair, Firearms, Pick Locks, Disarm Traps) because tech. skills severely raise technological aptitude preventing you from getting bonuses from magickal items, which are actually 80% or so items you get stat and skill bonuses from
Next character coming up will be called MacGyver. I guess from the name alone you can imagine what I will be making from him...
